Dogs Donate Blood to Save Injured Police Dog

November 16, 2016 at 10:32PM by
>br> Boise, Idaho, police dog Jardo is home recovering after being shot by a suspect on Friday. He survived the injury thanks in part to two fellow dogs. Myles, a 6-year-old Golden Retriever who belongs to a vet tech at WestVet Emergency Center, and a Pit Bull named Cricket donated almost a liter of blood to help Jardo stabilize after he lost a lot of blood from the gunshot wound to his chest. Jardo got to go home just one day after major surgery. Two police officers were also injured in the incident. One of the officers remains in critical condition, and another officer is home recovering. — Read it from Idaho’s KTVB
